My web server people were updating their stuff yesterday and my blog was down for a while. I was quite worried because it couldn’t access my MySQL database but the message I got was that it couldn’t do that or there was something wrong with wp-config and I thought I’d broken my site. It wasn’t me though, thankfully this morning it was all better.
I drove to bible study last night. Looks like I’ll be driving more short trips 😛
The idiots on the radio are really starting to get on my nerves. Everyone on Triple M gets paid to talk about nothing, they yammer on for a really long time about absolute crap. Sometimes it’s funny and that’s fine but when they actually talk about something interesting they don’t know anything about it. Just now they were talking about Shoc Docs (a TV program) and morbidly obese people (which the show was on last night). These people are the kind of people that can’t get out of bed and can’t wear clothes because they’re so fat, but what the idiots on the radio didn’t seem to know is that these people have a disease. They’re actually incapable of controlling their eating. Children that have the disease raid refrigerators, even when they’re in hospital the refrigerator has to be padlocked.
Last week they were talking about how America has outlawed people bringing Vegemite into the country and how they take it from searched bags at customs. It’s not true.
I was totally going to post about this yesterday but Foo has done it! I am highly allergic to cheap perfume and so many people on the train wear a lot of it. From the moment I stepped on the train my nose began to run and I didn’t have any tissues. I felt so sick by the time the train was pulling in to Central because I’d been sniffing back snot for 45 minutes. I then bought a packet of tissues (9 4 ply tissues) for $1.50! I couldn’t believe it and I wish I’d said “Are you kidding? I’ll get them from the pharmacy!” Instead I dug out all my change and paid for them. I’m sure they’re only 70c at the pharmacy down the stairs.
