Meat sauce

26 November 2006 by kristarella

I had a dream last night that I was throwing my brother a birthday party. All these random people that I had met in my life turned up and he didn’t know who they were. Food for the night was my bolognese sauce, I’d cooked many large saucepans of it. After the party we had some leftover food so we decided to continue the party with any late arrivals on a certain bus route. We stayed on that bus for ages and then we got to stop that intersected with another bus that would take us back home. We got off the bus and asked the other bus to wait while we packed up our dirty dishes and so on. Packing up seemed to take forever and I was surprised the other bus didn’t leave without us. I believe I woke up once while we were packing up and when I went back to sleep I had to start all over again, the other bus didn’t seem to mind because they were fishing over the bridge.

Later I had a different dream in which I was going to a hotel in Italy where I knew a certain person was staying. The surrounding areas were flooded, some of the surroundings were actual ocean and some were streets covered in water. The taxi didn’t seem to mind driving me there on the watery streets. There wasn’t elevators in this hotel so I had to try the stairs but they were very narrow and steep and I was feeling rather fuzzy-in-the-head. I found one room, not the one I was looking for, it had two stuffed animals that seemed to be stolen from another friend that was staying there. The animals, a monkey and something like a hamster, came to life and tried to kill me. They didn’t have much success, the wind had a little more success when it managed to blow the top few floors of the building into the water. Thankfully my fall out of the building put me in the ocean and close to the platform that the hotel stood on so I was able to swim and get out of the water.

That’s pretty much all. In between the dream I was thinking I should try to get a photo of the little moths that re invading my home, perhaps if I know what they are I can find the source of them.

I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
