I installed the image-headlines plugin. It seems to be working but not with certain punctuation marks. I’m sure those characters are in the font file. I’m leaving it up for now so that hopefully I’ll get a response from the maker of the plugin (if indeed my comment actually got saved, I hope he has moderation on because I wrote a comment twice and can’t see it there).

what is the image headline plugin and what does it do?

This must be a case where your so useful inline-linking would come in handy hey? It’s a WordPress plugin that converts post titles to PNGs using a font that you have specified. It’s kind of nice if one uses a non-standard font as a theme in the header and sidebar images of their blog. The titles in my sidebar are actually using the plugin as well. I realise this font isn’t the most readable but I just love something about it… not sure what exactly 😛

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
