Clean

2 October 2006 by kristarella

I lurve having a clean kitchen! It is so lovely to wander into the kitchen for a cup of tea and not be distressed by the dishes by the sink and the crumbs on the bench top.

I lurve when computers work the way you think they’re supposed to. It was mega stressful on Saturday getting my new site design to work but it was no trouble porting it to wordpress once it was working. :nerd:

I just made an icon set of pacman images. It’s in Windows format because that seemed the best way to save the images, as .ico; of course I have the .svg files so I can save them in whatever form I want. What does Mac use, what does Linux use for that matter? It would be sweet to change the spinning beach ball of death on the mac at work because it has such angry connotations; given that often when we see it it means that the computer is not coming back from whatever it’s stuck on. >:(

Today is a public holiday. Hubby is still in bed, I think he’s doing work, he’s using his computer at least. I’m still in my pyjamas and I’m starting to feel like I should do something useful because I won’t get a chance to do so (around here) until Friday. Still maybe I should take this public holiday opportunity to not do useful things and not feel guilty about it.

Oh, um it was Labor Day. Don’t even know why we have it but it’s good to have at least one (actually it’s the only one other than Christmas) in the second half of the year.

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
