’til ya drop…

25 September 2006 by kristarella

Shopping for clothes is tiring! What is it about shopping centres that just suck the life out of you? It could be all that walking, it seems like it’s not very far to walk but when you’re walking for about three hours it’s got to be a few kilometers surely. It could also be all that trying on clothes, the disappointed feeling one gets when things don’t fit or don’t look as good on as they did on the rack; just the physical action of putting clothes off and on all the time is tiring.

Thankfully it was a fairly successful trip. I didn’t get the kind of denim shorts that I wanted but I got 3/4 jeans, two sleeveless tops, havaianas (thongs/flip-flops), some canvas slip-on shoes (very cute, can’t explain, might take a photo) and a headband – one of those cute wide ones, black with white spots. Apparently they’re back in because they’re everywhere and I think it goes with my hairstyle.

Now I have to do dishes… Joy! 😛

havaianas. man i love them because they are so darn comfy and don’t rub on your feet. we won’t talk about how many pairs of flip flops i have. too many. but the problem is that they come in so many nice colours.
it’s good that eric takes my wallet when we go shopping now.
    flip flops are awesome.

I’ve never had a pair of havaianas, I haven’t bought new thongs for ages. I really needed some for this summer. I know what you mean about colours. I bought the blue metallic ones but I wouldn’t mind another colour as well. Maybe some brown ones.

Haha, I totally don’t mind matching! Although if it’s still 18 degrees on Friday then I’ll probably wear my canvas shoes.

    i see you bought thongs … 😉

over here, the current craze or so the radio says… is Crocs (http://www.crocs.com/). Even the men are wearing it. Not me I think they are ugly. You see it almost everywhere. Anyway they are supposed to be the most comfortable flipflop type shoe.

Ha, yeah I saw a whole rack of them at the shops a couple of weeks ago and said something like “Woah, are they in?” I don’t think I’ll be wearing them either!

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
