This site is totally cool! Pixelgirl Presents has a fantastic collection of desktops by different artists and designers. There are also crazy icon packages available for windows, mac OS and an “icon container” is available as well, which I assume is just the icons themselves. I’ve made a note of some of my favourites from the illustrative and tech categories but I look forward to checking more out.

These ones are fairly cartoony but there’s photographic ones and everything. It’s also inspired me to try to make my own pretty pictures. Maybe I can get The Gimp working a little better for me.
