Sucktitude and others

Sometimes it’s hard to be a woman… darn it now I have that song in my head, I don’t even like country! Well, I don’t dislike it I just don’t listen to it. Anyway, being a woman can be dumb, apart from the crying for no reason and the monthly agonising pain there’s the being susceptible to personal health problems. You can guess the kind of ones I mean. Lets just say I had one, and in treating it I got another one. Damn the discomfort!

Anyway apart from that, my “Bookmark this page” menu item has disappeared from my bookmarks! The “Bookmark all tabs” is still there though. Typical! I don’t know if it’s to do with a Firefox update or maybe Sage. My brilliant husband figured out that the hot key for bookmarking a single page is Ctrl+D; so until the problem is as miraculously fixed as it was caused, I’ll just use that.

Update: After a restart the problem is miraculously fixed. I knew it would be! 😀

Kudos to whoever instituted the flush toilet as the standard for Australian living. It’s easy, it’s effective, it’s not that difficult to clean. Actually it’s quite comfortable, much better than what I imagine a squat toilet would be. Although, imagine the leg muscles you’d develop using one of those all the time!

Fully SIC last night was hilarious. The girls and some leaders were kind of distracted but it was nearly on topic distraction. I think they understood the point of the study. Also Laura went to church on Sunday night! I’ve been encouraging her to do so and then she came and I wasn’t there. I think that Helen and Nat looked after her and I’ll see her there this week. Yay! 😀

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
