Sleepy

14 June 2006 by kristarella

I’m quite tired at them moment. I looked at the clock at 0830 and thought ‘yeah… I’ll get up at 9’ then next thing I knew it was 10. I’m sleepy. Maybe I just need to get going, get dressed etc. I haven’t got and dry, clean undies though, they’re in the clothes dryer so I might have to wait. I need to study for my biochemistry exam today. I will certainly get going on that shortly. I’m not sure where to start, whether to go through all of the lecture notes or whether to see if they’ve put out a question summary sheet type situation1. I think I like the question idea, I might start there.

Last night was great. We had a bible study dinner. We were supposed to dress up as our childhood hero/idol/aspiration. Hubby was not very forward thinking and he looked through his wardrobe and found a jacket and said ‘who would wear a jacket like this?’ and I said that Sherlock Holmes would. So that’s what he went as but without the hat or pipe. Ali and Rich came, they’re back from America, that was very excellent. Rich was Batman, we drew a batman symbol onto yellow and attached it to his shirt, it was cool, and Ali was a missionary, which she really did want to be when she was younger. Sarah looked cool cos she wore her firefighting get up which is actually real. Leigh was a ganstergansta, Robo was Rainbow Bright and Teds was a footy player. I went as a blue bunny. My favourite toy as a child was Bunny and I decided that toys are kind of heroic cos they’re always there when you need them :).

We also ate thai food which I looooove! We went on a lolly hunt which was good fun and ended up in a sugar high afterwards when we ate our lollies. We had lemon meringue pie after that which ended up in a pie fight which was very funny to watch! Teds got a piece of pie right on his head and he was seen in the bathroom afterwards washing his hair! It was pretty funny.

1 I must have said that word a lot at work one day or for a few weeks because now Mel and Daz use it all the time in a teasing way. It’s rather funny. I would have used thing instead of situation in that sentence but then I thought of them.

I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
