I’ve been waiting until I could accompany this post with a very unflattering picture to say: I got a gold medal at the karate tournament on Sunday! I got it for kata, I did Saifa, which is my grade kata. I came fourth in kumite (sparring). It was exciting to watch others do their stuff and I got some good pics that I’ll be posting on my photo blog soon.
