Technology is annoying me a lot right now. I was going to make a couple of cards that I’m sure would have been great, using photographs. However my useless printer says the ink is too low to even clean the print heads. What really gets me about that is almost all I print are lecture notes and stuff for uni which means it’s just text so I set it to the ‘text’ and ‘black ink only’ functions for economy but still the colour is used up just as much as the black. Not only this but if I want to replace only the black cartridge because I’m only printing in black, I can’t, the crap thing refuses to print at all if any of the cartridges are out. Why bother having separate cartridges? They all seem to magically diasappear in the same time frame anyway. So I can’t make cards for mothers’ day.
Dad emailed me to sayhe needs the Corel CDs back. That’s fine, not a problem, they’ve been waiting for him by the door for a month. He also said there is an update that requires the installation disk to run so I might want to do that before tomorrow. I downloaded the update and it won’t run, even with the CD something goes wrong.
Bloglines won’t subscribe to some sites, I’m not sure whose fault this is, Bloglines for not recognising all the RSS feeds, or the site for not having an easy access feed.
