In the salon yesterday while I was getting my hair washed I overheard a girl telling the guy whose hair she was washing that you should shampoo twice, with a small amount of shampoo each time and then condition. The first wash, apparently, opens up the cuticles/follicles, the second gets the dirt out and the conditioner closes them back up. Perhaps I shouldn’t use a 3in1 shampoo conditioner and treatment. I have noticed lately that when I’m away from home and use separate shampoo, my hair is better.
Their is a cool Flickr album about faces in ordinary objects – check it out!
My first job was at at hairdressers – the position didn’t exist so I created it in an application letter and they employed me – it was 12 years ago but I do remember the thing about shampooing twice and not using 2 in 1’s. I am not sure how true it all is though. But leaving conditioner in for a couple of minutes really does make your hair nice and soft and shiny : )
