Public Holiday!

25 April 2006 by kristarella

Woohoo! Today is a public holiday. We got to cath up on some much needed sleep after hubby’s restless night on Sunday. He’s a bit sick and Sunday involved some lach of sleep, hydration and alot of loud nose blowing. It wasn’t cool. He’s still run down but a better on the nose front.

I had a weird dream last night. I was taking a bath and I was trying to wash my hair before I got out, but no matter how much I drunked my head my hair wouldn’t get wet! It was very frustrating and not so pleasant. Thankfully my hair washed fine in the shower this morning. 🙂

Congrats Tricia on winning the Where’s Mat comp. That was good! I didn’t get a chance to more thoroughly search after I knew I’d gotten the answer wrong. I had a youth group planning meeting (sorry about the mix up of you not getting the message Hez!) and then church. Church was good and I warming to the talks of the minister who was speaking but he still isn’t great at answer questions. Even when I emailed him one time I don’t think the answer answered my question. It must be hard to explain things though, especially if it’s in front of everyone, and when you don’t necessarily know where the person asking is at in their understanding.

I downloaded Yahoo! Widgets. They’re pretty cool. They have a hot key to bring them up like on macs and I have a big fat clock so maybe I’ll stop running late and hubby won’t have to annoyingly hover over me.

I made what I thought was a pretty cool picture using Corel PhotoPaint and an outline of a tree that I’d done. Looking at other things though it’s not that cool and I need to touch it up a bit, make the colours a bit nicer.

If you’re interested in photos visit my other blog The Naked Eye! I posted a photo yesterday that I think can be appreciated by all. Please also visit my renter Supermom before she has to move out. I you have a tatoo you should check out hers and post a pic of your own!

I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
