Melissa at Jetting Through Life posted this pic which I’d seen before. I think it’s funny and it reminded me of my 10th(?) birthday.
On this occassion we were gathering at my house before going to Luna Park for some fun and games. I was opening my presents, one of which included a medium to large size chocolate bunny (as my birthday is often close to easter). We were milling around and having a bit of fun when I saw my little brother munching the ears off my present! I was a little less than impressed and I chased him right out the front door, around the house and in the back door. On the way in through the back door I tripped on a rug and twisted my ankle. I didn’t make a big deal out of it, I tend to handle pain okay1 but it was actually sprained and it got more painful throughout the day. At Luna Park, in Coney Island there were these moving floorboards that you had to cross. I couldn’t at all and the attendant had to turn them off for me. I still had fun though, the small rollercoaster was fun (I was either too small or scared for the big one) and I got extra time at the top of the ferris wheel because it was my birthday.
