Stupid pancakes!

5 March 2006 by kristarella

I was going to be a nice little housewife and cook us some pancakes for breakfast this morning. I was so excited – there are some many possibilities… Well two really, choc chip or maple syrup, but that’s enough for me! I opened the fridge and… no eggs! How annoying. Yes we have officially reached that stage where all we can eat is noodles. We do have milk which normally would be the first thing to run out but we have that because we already ran out of that and I got milk and a loaf of bread (which we just finished) on the way home from the bakery. So I want to go to the supermarket tonight (I never go during the day, way too hectic) but hubby is still sick and doesn’t think he’ll be coming to church. I’m supposed to do one of the bible readings at church, I don’t entirely want to go without him though. I could but it’s not like I couldn’t do with some relaxing as well. I think I can feel some nasty period pain coming on.

So far our movies have gone well. Turner & Hooch was really good. It was funny and sweet and there were human interactions, not just getting to love the dog. Now all we have left is I’m With Lucy, I wonder if hubby is actually going to watch it or if he’d going to say “No, that’s okay, you watch it.” FYI mister – I hate watching stuff by myself when you’re in the house! Only when you are out can I do such a thing.

I did a funny loop of BE tenants and renters today. I went to read Cat’s blog because she is totally awesome. Then I clicked on her renter Lou and she seems cool too (please read her recent posts about a Passion Party and her hubby losing the car – funny stuff!) then I clicked on her renter, Ficklechick, who has Cat as a renter! I love the blogosphere.
