Biochem lab went for so long! 3 hours! I couldn’t go to my french lecture after that, if I did I would have gotten no break at all today and I needed to eat. It’s okay, I looked over the french notes and it’s going to be a fairly straight forward lecture I think. I’ll just have to make sure I include the lecture stuff in compiling my french notes – it’ll be fairly difficult to forget them I think.
We are going on a “tour” of a genetics lab in the hospital (where I work!) for todays’ genetics practical. I hope it doesn’t go for too long!
When I went to the bookshop yesterday in search of those french cds I’ve been talking about, the woman was so unhelpful! She was insisting that the only thing they had for French 1A was this cassette tape and she practically made me buy it! I’m going to go back, maybe after genetics, to get the cds if I can and return the tape. She didn’t even look the cds up on the computer, so I did that last night and printed out the details. If they argue with me I’ll say “I don’t care what your list says, I’m saying if you have these cds in stock or can get them soon I WANT THEM not this stupid cassette tape!” Who has a cassette player these days anyway? My hubby’s stereo actually does have a tape deck cos it’s one of those big ones with everything but all my tape players died a long time ago.
Speaking of long times, Occasional Bitch doesn’t have much time left here, please go and visit her!
