19 March 2006 by kristarella

We are back. It was a nice little stint away. Thanks for you well wishes Barb!

While away there was some eating, playing of games including a made up game using Trivial Pursuit cards and a game of Bingo using real cards and counters and a little number dispenser with a crank handle, bible reading, music playing, sleeping and shopping. I finally got a Natalie Merchant CD! It’s very good so far.

I said on Friday that it “was the first real day of Autumn”. As I was walking to work I realised that the air was cool and crisp but the sun was hot which is just how Autumn should be. I love being able to wear my long pants and sometimes long sleeve shirts but be able to go and lie in the sun like a lizard if I want to. It’s the perfect season (for me who loves winter clothes).

I’m pretty tired and I need to take a shower before band practice and then church. It’s going to be a long afternoon!
