It’s amazing! I actually got a computer in the library today. I didn’t have to wait half an hour. It’s not a new swanky computer though – they are being used for classes all the time it seems. Bummer! It’s supposed to be the Biomedical library, why do so many biology or medicine classes need computers?
After being sick last week and taking wednesday off I’m feeling a little lost in French! I think alot of people feel lost though so perhaps it’s not me and missing a class. It does seem that the tutor expects us to know alot and be able to say alot and respond appropriately to questions and such. Perhaps it’s not that she expects us to but she just has to speak french to us all the time otherwise we won’t learn.
I think I’m just going to go out on limb and buy the cd for french, darn the price. The amount I listen to my iPod if I put french on there it’ll be much easier than sitting down at the lab I think. Although I might tune out if I’m not looking at the book at the same time to understand what they’re saying. I was thinking of buying some music in french for a similar purpose. Does anyone know of some decent french music? I only know of Celine Dion and it’s a matter of opinion whether that’s considered “decent music”. For the record, I have nothing against Celine, she’s probably not my choice style of music though.
