Finally!

5 February 2006 by kristarella

I finally finished my new look blog. You are looking at it right now. It was pretty crazy having something I wanted to do and very little idea how to do it. Now it’s done. There’s a flicker somewhere and I don’t know why, but I did figure out that the reason the first post on the page was down really far was because it was told “div style=”clear:both;” by blogger and the sidebar is floated so it had to clear it but now it’s floated too so it’s okay. Yay for my investigative and deduction skills! Yay for my husbands extensive computer knowledge!

I wonder what I’ll do tomorrow having finished this project. It’s nice to be on holidays! I could catch up on the blogs I couldn’t check this weekend because they are powered by blogger and blogger went… I don’t know where it went but it sure wasn’t here!

Holy cow. Now my handy work looks pitiful! AWESOME job. Last night when I checked I couldn’t see the background, but now I can.

I’m VERY impressed. Where’d you get the background? Did you draw it?

Don’t say that Mags! I love your blog! Thankyou also though. The background is a compilation of the cartoon which is made from a photo of me and a painting by Robert Dickerson called The Milkman of Bondi Junction and a photo of handmade paper.

Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Title Had a great Saturday at the GKR Karate State Titles! I was a sub for @jamesxuereb.me in the Blue Flame Dragons thanks to his sprained ankle; we won first round and came fourth overall!
I did a bunch of judging and officiating, which was really good.
I didn’t place in my individual events, but had a very fun final round of kumite (sparring).
